Proxy format converter

Turn a proxy list into a consistent format. Validation, conversion and deduplication stay in your browser.

Run the tool

Up to 10,000 lines / 1 MB. Invalid entries are identified by line number only.

Inputs and results stay on this page and its browser worker. They are not uploaded, stored locally or added to the URL. Exported files may contain credentials.

How to use this tool

  1. Paste one proxy per line: host:port, host:port:user:password, or a proxy URI with a scheme.
  2. Choose a default protocol for entries without one, then URI or CSV output. Enclose IPv6 addresses in brackets.
  3. Convert the list and review invalid line numbers before copying or downloading. Limit: 10,000 lines and 1 MB.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paste CSV as input?

This version accepts line-based addresses and URIs. CSV is an output format with protocol, host, port, username and password columns.

How do I handle special characters in credentials?

Use a URI with percent-encoded reserved characters, including @ and colons, in the credentials. The tool decodes and then normalizes them.

Why do some CSV fields start with an apostrophe?

Fields that could be treated as spreadsheet formulas are prefixed to avoid automatic execution. Prefer URI output for programmatic connections.
