When you use DF-IP services, we may collect the following information:
- Account Information: Basic information provided during registration such as email and username
- Payment Information: Payment-related information for processing transactions (we do not store complete credit card information)
- Usage Data: Service usage including traffic usage, connection time, etc.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, etc.
Data handling in free online tools
Proxy conversion, configuration generation, CIDR calculation and browser environment checks process inputs and results in your browser. They do not upload this content to DF-IP, add it to URLs or persist it in local storage. Tool pages do not load third-party analytics or session replay scripts. Website or CDN access logs may still record static resource requests.
The homepage connection summary and My IP request the DF-IP API when the page opens and when you check again, identifying the current connection’s public source IP and looking up its location locally on our server. IP lookup sends the entered address to the same service when you submit it. Routine lookups do not send visitor or queried IPs to database suppliers. The source IP is detected on every request; location information for an address is cached for 5 minutes by default. Rate limiting uses short-lived hashed identifiers. Queried addresses and results are not written to application logs, although website or proxy access logs may record request sources. The browser holds up to 30 location results without local storage. Clearing or refreshing removes only the page cache, not server results. Location estimates must not be used to identify specific people, households or street addresses. Data use is subject to the license linked on the tool pages.
Copied content, downloaded files and terminal history from commands you run yourself may contain credentials. Remove sensitive information before sharing. Clearing the page does not delete downloaded files or the system clipboard.
